Run Challenge

Last challenge, we did a Rep Challenge, focusing on improving our number of pushups, sit-ups, and plank time.  This time, since we are only doing 3 workouts per week, I thought a run (or walk) challenge would be fun!

For the month of June my goal is to run a 5k without stopping, so this has been how I’m training for that. I choose two days per week to run/walk for 30 minutes. The time always stays the same because 1) I don’t have much more time than that to workout with 4 kids home on summer break and 2) My time needs to stay the same so I can see the growth.

It’s simple:

  1. Choose 2 days
  2. On the treadmill or outside, run/walk for 30 minutes.
  3. Log how far you made it in 30 minutes. (If you aren’t on a treadmill, use your Fitbit, Apple Watch, phone, etc.)
  4. Next time, try to run more or walk faster. You want to see growth in how far you made it in 30 minutes.
  5. Share your results!! Whether it’s at the end of the week, when you see growth, or at the end of the challenge tag me and use #HustlingAtHome so I can see and celebrate your accomplishments with you!
